COLLECTOR LICENCE COURSE, 23RD AND 25TH FEBRUARY 2021

The next AMACS Collector Licence course shall be held on Tuesday 23rd and Thursday 25th at 19:00hrs at the LSB Gunshop in Santa Venera. On the first day we shall discuss the laws and regulations governing the collecting of firearms and the correct definition of various firearm types, while on the second day we will examine applicant’s areas of interest and general knowledge on the subject. An assessment shall be carried out at the end of the second session.

The course is designed for persons who have a genuine interest in starting a collection of historic firearms and would like to apply for a Collector Licence A, as well as those who have been in possession of a Collector Licence A for at least two years and would like to upgrade to the Special level of this licence. A Letter of Recommendation shall be given to successful candidates.

The fee for existing members who wish to attend this course is 45 Euro, inclusive of VAT. Book your attendance by sending an email to info@amacs-malta.org and visiting the AMACS office on any Wednesday prior to the course between 14:00h and 20:30h. The course is limited to five applicants. Should you require any further information, please phone 7741 1600 during office hours.

If you are not yet enrolled as an AMACS member, we are offering a package price of 75 Euro covering the course and membership in 2021. Please download the 2021 AMACS membership application form, fill it in and obtain a medical doctor’s endorsement. You will also need a recent Police certificate of good conduct. Once you have all these documents ready, please visit the Association’s office on a Wednesday (14:00h to 20:30h).

AMACS is an official affiliate of the Foundation for European Societies of Arms Collectors (FESAC) and is authorised by the Police to issue Letters of Recommendation for the Collector Licence A and the Collector Licence A Special.
