NOTICE OF 35TH AMACS ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING – SATURDAY 12TH DECEMBER 2020 AT 13:30HRS, AMACS PREMISES, TIGNE’ POINT

While all members who are paid up for 2020 may attend, we are obliged to limit the number of persons in the hall to observe social distancing regulations related to Covid-19. Therefore, if you intend to join us, please confirm your attendance in advance by replying to this email. Those booked to attend shall be required to wear masks.

 

ELIGIBILITY OF CANDIDATES FOR THE ELECTIONS

Some of the current committee members shall be vacating their seats. Hence, these positions are open for contestation by members who are interested in contributing to the sterling work done by AMACS in the interest of our community of collectors, sport shooters and re-enactors.

Statute Clause 4.1.3 states that candidates would need to have been Association members for at least three (3) consecutive years at the time of their candidature. Moreover, a candidate’s membership must be paid up for the current year.

 

APPOINTMENT OF TWO TELLERS

Members Charles Mallia and Paul Cassar have been appointed as Tellers during the EGM held this afternoon. They will be reviewing the 2010 audited accounts in order to report to the AGM on the 12th.
