MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS FOR 2026 ARE NOW OPEN!

We are pleased to inform our members that online membership renewals for 2026 are now open
Please click here to access the system, update your details and renew your membership and insurance cover before printing the two documents from the comfort of your own home.
Renewals in person at the AMACS office will also be accepted from Wednesday 3rd December (15:00h to 20:00h). Please bring your 2025 documents with you if you choose this option.
When renewing online, you will be offered options for the choice of clubs. At least one must be chosen in addition to AMACS, which is mandatory:
Malta Licence A Shooting Club (MLASC) Select this club if you have or intend to get a Target Shooter Licence A or A Special to keep and use rifles, pistols, revolvers and crossbows at the range.
Malta Licence B Shooting Club (MLBSC) Select this club if you have or intend to get a Target Shooter Licence B to keep and use shotguns, muzzle-loaders or air guns at the range.
Valletta Paintball Club (VLTPC) – This is the new name for MHBIC – Select this club to keep and use devices that do not require a Police licence for use in paintball or airsoft activities.
Malta Arms & Militaria Society (MAMS) Select this club if you have or intend to get a Collector Licence A or A Special to collect all categories of firearms.
However, we encourage you to select all clubs for a total of €50.
It is important to note that renewals of the Target Shooter Licence A Special requires our endorsement upon submission of a scan of the log book showing that you have attended at least three events in 2025. Please send your scan to info@amacs-malta.org.
With regard to insurance, Third Party Liability (TPL) is mandatory while Personal Accident (PA) is optional. However, we recommend that you choose both for peace of mind.
If you submitted a Police Health Certification in 2024, you are not required to submit one this year, since it is now mandatory every 5 years. However, if for some reason you did not submit it in 2024, then you must do so now by printing the Police Health Certification Form, which must be filled in and signed by your GP, and submitting it at your local Police Station together with the 2026 AMACS Membership Book and Insurance Certificate when you renew your Police licences at the beginning of the year.
Please be prompt with your AMACS renewals so that you are all set to go when Police renewals open in 2026. We draw you attention that you risk losing your licence and your firearms if you do not renew your Police licences within a reasonable period!
